The Film

Z35 in motion.

Proof that a sporty day cruiser can be elegant — and offer a surprising amount of space.

The Z35 follows in the tradition of the legendary Zaffiro line — the bestseller of which Cranchi built around 150 boats a year for a decade. The striking black design bands with inset windows along the topsides give her an unmistakable profile on the water.

Her fully open cockpit is made for sunny days: aft, the C-shaped sofa that converts into a sun lounger; forward, an integrated L-shaped bench; to starboard, the outdoor galley with grill and fridge next to the helm. Below deck, the Z35 surprises with two fully fledged cabins: owner forward, guests aft, a convertible dining area and a bathroom with separate shower cubicle.

Two Volvo Penta D4 EVC/E/DPI engines of 270 hp each with Duoprop sterndrives take the Z35 to around 35.5 knots; economical cruising is at 26.5 to 27.5 knots. At the helm she is what Cranchi does best: agile, direct and always good-natured — driving pleasure without nervousness.

Cranchi Z35 — Main Deck layout

Main Deck — open cockpit with C-sofa, L-bench, outdoor galley & helm

On board

For days that begin on the water.

Fully open, fully social

The C-shaped aft sofa converts in no time into a large sun lounger, and an L-shaped bench in the forward cockpit completes the circle — a single open meeting point from helm to bathing platform.

Outdoor galley & helm

Grill, sink and fridge right in the cockpit: the aperitif is made where it is enjoyed. Beside it, the helm with a large surface for electronic instrumentation and a flip-up bolster seat.

Owner's cabin

Surprisingly generous: standing headroom, a walk-around bed and plenty of stowage make the forward cabin a fully fledged retreat — even for a whole week on board.

Guest cabin & dining area

The guest cabin aft offers single berths that can be joined into a large bed. Amidships: grill and dining area, which converts into the fifth berth. The bathroom has a separate shower cubicle.

Agile & good-natured

Duoprop sterndrives and a hull by Aldo Cranchi make the Z35 direct and true on course — tight turns at 30 knots without a hint of nervousness. Bow thruster included.

Fixed bathing platform

The large, fixed bathing platform carries a dinghy or water toys and houses stowage and the bathing ladder — the short way from sun deck into the water and back.
